Promoting peace

Conflict and violence displace millions of people each year. Half of those killed in conflict are children, and 90 percent are civilians.

Different Programs. Common Purpose.

While our grant making has focused on outcomes unique to each program, our objectives have been to:

  • Promote and enhance opportunities for people, especially in places where systemic barriers unfairly hold them back.
  • Address the root causes of inequity rather than the symptoms.
  • The need to support entrepreneurship and innovation for the future

The serious challenges in our communities and the world are not limited to poverty, disease, illiteracy and violence. They are also reflected in ambitious, well-educated young people, unable to find support to start their march on the road to success; or governmental employees who lack the incentive to unleash their untapped potential to serve society, or innovative minds who may not find the adequate resources to develop ideas that could provide true solutions to regional and global challenges. The Guardian Angel Foundation focuses on developing communities through the education of leaders specialized in good governance, supporting the development of leadership among youth, providing integrated incubators to support innovators, and relying on research and innovation, being some of the most important tools necessary for changing the future of societies.

Goals and objectives

The goal of the Guardian Angel Foundation is to “forge/establish partnerships with individuals and organizations to improve personal and professional outcomes for young men and women.
To provide education and training to the underserved in order to develop their vocational and soft skills that creates opportunities for upward economic mobility. Sub Goal: To provide job placement for graduating workforce through the development of sustained employment channels.
To develop programs in order to effectively provide a platform for basic understanding of issues that affect well-being in both men and women. A preemptive approach can be introduced which aids in addressing potential physical and mental ailments affecting the lives of individuals in society.
Creation of programs which raise awareness of civic responsibility and cultural and religious understanding amongst various communities.

We believe that programs must be culturally sensitive and sustainable while underpinning societal needs.

Philosophy

For the Guardian Angel Foundation it is important to add value to individuals’ lives. This value needs to be above and over what a person is already seeking/receiving; and it needs to help an individual identify differently from the lot and provide opportunities to achieve more.
